DDS, FACP

Dr. Jonathan M. Winfield, co-founder of Winfield Dental Group PLLC, was born and raised in San Diego, California. He earned a B.S. in Pharmacological Chemistry from UC San Diego (2010-2015) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in 2019. He completed a residency in advanced prosthodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2022, specializing in full mouth rehabilitation, digital dentistry, and implant dentistry. Dr. Winfield is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

2019

Bright New Beginnings

Originally from San Diego, California, Dr. Winfield combines a profound dedication to science with a commitment to serving others, which naturally led him to a career in dentistry. He embarked on his academic pursuits at the University of California San Diego, studying pharmacological chemistry from 2010 to 2015. His scholarly ambition took him to the esteemed University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2019.
2022

Board Certified Prosthodontist

Dr. Winfield further specialized in advanced prosthodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago, completing his training in 2022. There, he honed his skills in full mouth rehabilitation, digital, and implant dentistry. His proficiency earned him the status of diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, following a rigorous national board examination.
2023

IV conscious moderate sedation

To enhance his clinical skills and patient care, Dr. Winfield has trained in IV conscious moderate sedation, studying under the guidance of notable experts including Dr. Stanely Malamed, often referred to as the Godfather of Dental Anesthesiology, and Dr. Ken Reed. This training allows him to offer a safe and comfortable experience for patients undergoing various dental procedures under sedation.
